IBERZOO 2005

Brisk trade and large crowds of visiting professionals were the keynotes of the first edition of the IBERZOO Professional Pet Fair.

The response from the professionals who thronged Pavilion 3 in the Zaragoza Trade Fair Hall was excellent and surpassed even the most optimistic forecasts. In the four days that IBERZOO lasted, more than 10,000 visitors called in at the Fair to find out about the latest in pet care innovations.

IBERZOO was the ideal meeting point for the 476 brands that were on display. The goal of this international Show is to consolidate and strengthen links between professionals, and to do this a dynamic fair that meets the needs of its customers was designed. The exclusively professional event was attended by industry manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, importers and technicians seeking to open up new promotion and sales channels.

The Fair was the idea of the Spanish Association of Pet Products Distributors (AEDPAC) and aims to be an essential forum for pet professionals. Sectors present at the Fair were aquariums, terrariums, articles for dogs, cats and small animals, outdoor facilities and the specialist press, and there was an extensive programme of activities.

By the end of its first edition, IBERZOO had become the meeting and reference point for the international and domestic pet markets.
